Delta Ibex Atelier

Leaves with a clear origin story

A Helsinki tea shop for people who read the tasting note before the price tag. Narrow editorial pages, wide cups, quiet afternoons on Garden Street.

Delta Ibex Atelier began as a tasting table and grew into a small shop where black, oolong, green, and herbal blends share one shelf language: harvest notes, steep time, and water temperature written without flourish.

We source through importers we can name and cup everything before it hits the jar. If a lot tastes flat, it never reaches the counter. Guests sit for flights on weekends; weekdays favour takeaway tins and unhurried questions.

There is no loyalty app, no invented scarcity. There is a kettle, a scale, and staff who will tell you when something is too delicate for boiling water. Read the long notes on Leaves, book a flight on Tasting, or learn why the ibex appears on our colophon in Story.

Garden Street keeps us near parks and trams. Bring a reusable tin if you like; we refill where the leaf allows. Gift wrapping is paper and string—nothing louder than the tea itself.

Multi-location language stops here: one atelier, one address, one kettle wall. When friends ask for “the other shop,” we smile and point at 91 Garden Street again.

Afternoon light on Garden Street turns the white shelves archival and calm. Jars sit in short rows so labels stay readable. The kettle wall hums without dominating conversation. Helsinki winters make hot cups feel necessary; summers make iced tea infusions a polite option we still treat seriously.

Ask for a rinse if you are comparing two oolongs. We would rather spend three extra minutes than send you home with a leaf that fights your water. That is the Delta Ibex standard—sure-footed choices, no cliff edges of hype.
