Story
Delta Ibex borrows the sure-footed animal and the river-mouth word for change: teas arrive, we cup, we keep what holds its shape. Helsinki winters taught us to value warmth without sweetness overload.
The atelier remains intentionally small. That is not branding theatre—it is how we protect attention at the counter.
The ibex image on our colophon is a reminder to choose footing carefully—tea buying included. Delta suggests a place where waters meet and change; our shop changes stock when seasons and farms do.
We opened with more cups than shelves and learned to reverse that ratio. Now the shelves speak first, and the cups wait for people who want to listen. Garden Street remains our only address on purpose.
Neighbours know us by the kettle whistle more than by advertising. That quiet reputation is intentional: tea sells best when the person behind the counter has time to listen.
